Longtab Taxidermy is a full service veteran owned and operated business. I spent 23 years in the U.S. Army, with the majority as a Green Beret with the 10th Special Forces Group (AIRBORNE) at Fort Carson, Colorado. I had the distinct privilege to serve with and along side of America’s most elite soldiers. After 9/11, life as a Special Forces soldier became very busy and action packed. The men I call brothers continue the fight while I have since retired and now seek a less action packed lifestyle.
Growing up as a sportsman I quickly fell in love with nature and the animals that occupy our forests, streams, and skies. From my youngest memories of childhood, one thing has always stayed constant when it comes to nature. No matter what is going on in your life, nature and all the beautiful creatures in it, bring peace and relaxation. While I would love to spend every day hunting, fishing, and hiking in the gorgeous mountains of Colorado...I simply cannot.
Longtab Taxidermy quickly became a perfect fit of my former career that I loved, and the relaxing beauty I have always loved and respected. The non stop push for excellece and perfection in all aspects of my old career, are now used to recreate and preserve your beautiful trophy. Whether it is a 400 inch bull Elk or a spike Deer, all animals are treated the same. They are simply your trophy and deserve the same attention and level of care and detail.
